Title : Mathematical Modeling &Analysis of Neuro- degenerate Disease 5. Abstract : Mathematics is a language of science and can be used widely to represent real world phenomena and its understanding. In this talk, we focus on one of the neuro-degenerate disease ALS, which is also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. We present brief biological background, some historical remark, and the mathematical modeling and analysis of ALS. We also introduce some open questions in system biology. This talk is intended for general audience, including students. |
